To vote against the Healthcare Reform bill is to vote against having 30 million people covered, for denying coverage for people (and children) with preexisting conditions, to be against helping small businesses buy insurance coverage, for helping to make health insurance more affordable and so many other reasons.  Yes, there are some things in the bill that don't work well and are just down right bad for America (thanks to the conservative loons, the same people that called anyone who challenged the wisdom of going to war with Iraq and torturing detainees unpatriotic!).
We have a dysfunctional Senate and a system that is polluted, in many ways it is difficult to continue to call it a democracy.  It is no longer a democracy of majority rule.  We have allowed these bodies of government (in particular the Senate) to create a mockery of our democracy.  Where the minority can block progress of governing and legislation.  In some cases a minority of ONE!

This is the most reprehensible thing about this group of government, when considered as a whole - they are arrogant, ego maniacal, out-of-touch, spoiled, adolesense whom really should not be in a position of leadership.  They are anything but leaders.  I hear over and over about, "this is just the way things get done".  To that I say you are cowards not to do the right thing.  Or at least work towards the right thing instead of continually allowing the "way things are" to be more perverted and corrupt.  Stand up and do what is right for ALL of America!

I hate the Senate, what a bunch of lying cowards! The whole cloture, fillabuster, 60 vote bull ***** is garbage and undemocratic. The cowards on both sides of the isle will not do what is right because they just may want to use it in the future. Majority rule in our democracy is dead thanks to these bastards!

I guess if you are against the healthcare reform bill then you are not willing for people to be able to get healthcare services for themselves or their family. If you are not for the healthcare reform bill (even as it is today) then you feel that in order to receive healthcare services one should be required to pay for it and furthermore the more capable you are to pay for services the better the quality of those services will generally be. If you are not for the healthcare reform bill then you are not for allowing people like me to have true and decent access to healthcare services. If you are not for the healthcare reform bill then what are you for? (it is plain that you are not for anything really, isn't it)
